PRESS RELEASE
On 11-28-12 Justin Janson, age 27, of Calico Rock, Ar was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana, a Class A Misdemeanor. Janson had also been arrested on 11-27-12 after Flippin Police Officers learned he was shoplifting at a local business. During the course of that shoplifting arrest officers also located an amount of marijuana on Janson and subsequently charged him with Shoplifting and Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.
The most recent arrest stems from traffic stop by Flippin Police Officers. During the course of that stop the Flippin Police Department K-9 “Dax” alerted on a vehicle that Janson was traveling in. During the course of a search of that vehicle officers located an amount of high grade marijuana with a street value of approximately $400.00. Janson was arrested without incident and transported to the Marion County Jail.
Janson posted an $895.00 bond and is release pending a court date in Flippin District Court. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.
