Flippin Resident arrested on Felony Domestic Battery

On 6/27/2014 Michael Hall, age 34, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery, a Class D Felony and Terroristic Threatening, a Class A Misdemeanor.

The arrest comes after Flippin Police received a call from a concerned person stating that a male was assaulting a female at a residence in Flippin. Officers located the residence and gained evidence from outside the residence that an altercation had occurred. Officers attempted to get a female they could see inside the residence to come to the door. Officers could hear a male subject in the residence yelling at the female not to open the door. Officers from the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office made entry into the residence. The officers observed the victim to have wounds consistent with an assault. Officers made contact with Hall in the residence and arrested him. During the course of the investigation officers learned the victim was pregnant and found other evidence of the assault.

Hall was transported to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and later posted a $5,000.00 bond. He is awaiting appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
