PRESS RELEASE
On 11-5-12 Ezra Jones, age 19, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance Hydrocodone, a Class D Felony.
The arrest stems from traffic stop by Flippin Police Officers on 11-5-12. During the course of the stop officers located 35 Hydrocodone pills on Jones. Officers also located an amount of US Currency that was seized. Jones was arrested without incident and transported to the Marion County Jail. Jones was also arrested over the weekend by Flippin Police for shoplifting at a local business. At the time of this arrest Jones was out on bond for the shoplifting arrest as well as a previous arrest two weeks ago by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Bond for Jones was set at $10,000.00. He remains in the Marion County Jail at the time of the press release. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.
