Flippin resident arrested on Felony Drug Charges

PRESS RELEASE

On 8/24/12 Jeremiah Cox, age 38, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, a Class B Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony.

The arrest stems from a home visit by the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. Officers with that Department, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Flippin Police Department went to the Cox residence in an attempt to locate another subject on Probation. While at the residence officers located a number of items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine along with an amount of drug paraphernalia related to the use of methamphetamine. Cox was arrested without incident and transported to the Marion County Jail.

Bond for Cox was set at $7,500.00. Cox remains incarcerated at the time of the press release.
