Flippin resident arrested on Felony Drug Charges

PRESS RELEASE

On 9-16-12 Travis Langston, age 29, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) with Purpose to Deliver, a Class B Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony.

The arrest stems from a traffic stop on 9/16/12 by Flippin Police Officers. During the course of the stop officers searched the vehicle Langston was traveling in. During the course of the search officers located an amount of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $400.00. Officers located digital scales and numerous baggies in the vehicle as well. Officers also located methamphetamine and marijuana related drug paraphernalia.

Langston was arrested without incident. Bond for Langston was set at $15,000.00. Langston remains incarcerated pending an appearance in Marion County Circuit Court at the time of the press release.
