Flippin Resident arrested on Felony Drug Charges

On 3-22-13 Sam Miller, age 63, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Delivery of Ecstasy, a Class C Felony, Delivery of Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony, Delivery of Hydrocodone, a Class C Felony, Delivery of Oxycodone, a Class C Felony, and Delivery of Xanax, a Class D Felony.

The arrest stems from a nine month joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation Miller sold narcotics to agents working with law enforcement. During the course of the investigation officers learned that Miller was in possession of a stolen wood splitter stolen from Marion County Arkansas. On 3-21-13 Officers from each agency along with the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Millers residence. During the course of that search officers located and seized the stolen wood splitter. The splitter was valued at approximately $3000.00.

Miller was arrested on the outstanding narcotics related warrant on 3-22-13. Additional charges are anticipated regarding the recovered stolen wood splitter. Bond for Miller was set at $10,000.00 and he is awaiting an appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
