Flippin Resident arrested on Felony Drug Charges

PRESS RELEASE

On 7/8/13 Amanda Stevens, age 24, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Schedule III Controlled Substance Hydrocodone, a Class C Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony, and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, a Class C Felony.

The arrest stems from a joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of that investigation Stevens sold Hydrocodone pills to undercover law enforcement officers. On 7/8/13 Deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance call involving Stevens and arrested her without incident on the outstanding charges.

Bond for Stevens was set at $20,000.00. She remains incarcerated in the Marion County Jail.
