PRESS RELEASE
On 2-8-2013 Marsha Sutterfield, age 43, of Gassville was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Morphine, a Class C Felony and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Soma, a Class D Felony. Sutterfield faces enhanced penalties as the transaction occurred near a park or school.
The arrest stems from a joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation Sutterfield made narcotics transactions with an undercover agent. A warrant was issued for Sutterfield for the offenses.
On 2-8-13 Gassville Police Officers made contact with Sutterfield and arrested her without incident. Sutterfield was transported to the Marion County Jail. Bond for Sutterfield was set at $10,000.00. Sutterfield posted bond and is awaiting a first appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
