Mtn. Home resident arrest on Mulitple Felony Charges

On 8-9-12 Cesar Dimas, age 27, of Mountain Home was arrested and charged with Forgery, a class B Felony.

The arrest comes after Dimas applied for housing at an apartment  complex in Flippin. The Flippin Police Department conducts background investigations for that complex. During the course of the background investigation officers noticed that the social security card Dimas was using appeared to be forged. After further investigation officers learned that the social security number that Dimas was using was invalid and was last issued in 1919. A search warrant was executed at the apartment complex were Dimas was residing in Flippin. During the course of the search warrant officers were able to recover the fraudulent social security card. Officers also located another Hispanic male in the apartment who did not possess proper paperwork and identification to reside in the U.S.  Officers contacted US Immigrations Services but Immigrations declined to extradite the subject.

Dimas was arrested without incident and transported to the Marion County Jail. Bond for Dimas was set at $10,000.00. He remains incarcerated at the time of the press release. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the execution of the search warrant and arrest.
