PRESS RELEASE
On 4-15-12 Westley Pearce, age 25, of Sallisawe, Oklahoma was arrested and charged with Internet Stalking of a Child, a Class A Felony, Computer Child Pornography, a Class A Felony, and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, a Class C Felony.
The arrest stems from a Cyber Crimes Investigation by the Flippin Police Department. During the course of the investigation Pearce sent sexually explicit messages and pornographic images of himself to an undercover Flippin Police Officer who Pearce thought was a 14 year old female. Pearce made arrangements to meet with 14 year old female at a location in Flippin. Pearce made the over three hour drive and was quickly located and arrested without incident when he arrived at the meeting location in Flippin.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest. Bond for Pearce was set at $50,000.00. At the time of the press release Pearce has posted bond and is awaiting his first appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
