Summit Residents arrested on Felony Warrants

On 11-11-14 Kenneth Boucher, age 44, of Summit was arrested on an outstanding Felony warrant from Marion County for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property. Boucher was also charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, a Class D Felony.

Also arrested was Danielle Bess, age 25, of Summit. Bess was arrested on an outstanding Felony warrant from Van Buren County Arkansas for Failure to Appear for the original offense of Forgery and a new charge from Marion County for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.

The arrest stems from a joint investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Flippin Police Department. Officers were aware of the outstanding warrant for Boucher and located him in a vehicle on 11-11-14. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and located an amount of prescription narcotics in his possession.

During the course of the investigation Officers learned that Bess was staying at Boucher’s residence and learned of the outstanding warrant for her. Officers traveled to the residence and located Bess. Officers located items of drug paraphernalia in the room Bess was staying in during the arrest.

Both remain in the Marion County Jail at the time of the press release.
