Three Flippin Juveniles arrested on Felony Criminal Mischief

      PRESS RELEASE

The arrests stem from a number of reports by citizens of Fippin over the past weeks and months. Most of the reports involved property damage including yard ornaments being destroyed, rocks thrown through the windows of residences and vehicles, the city park being vandalized, and subjects knocking on the doors of residences during the night and then running off. After reviewing numerous witness statements and conducting interviews and surveillance, officers identified three suspects.

One of the juveniles was transported by juvenile services to Juvenile Detention. The other two were cited, placed on house arrest, and released to their parents pending juvenile court dates. The arrests closed nine complaint cases totaling over $2,000.00 in property damage.

Citizens are encouraged to check their properties and report any damage to the Flippin Police Department as some of the incidents occurred over the past weekend.
