Two arrested on Felony Drug Charges

On 4-2-14 Jennifer Padgett, age 30, of Flippin was arrested and charged with Delivery of Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class B Felony, and Tampering with Physical Evidence, a Class D Felony.

The arrest stems from a joint investigation by the Flippin Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office. During the course of the investigation officers made a purchase of methamphetamine from Padgett. Officers located Padgett in a vehicle on 4-2-14 and arrested her for that offense. During the course of that arrest officers located items of drug paraphernalia related to the sale of methamphetamine. Officers later learned that Padgett ate part of the evidence when the officer who stopped her engaged his emergency lights to make the stop.

Padgett remains at the Marion County Jail at the time of the press release with bond pending.

Also on 4-2-14 Pamela Pendergrass, age 21, of Gassville was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class B Felony and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, a Class A Misdemeanor.

This arrest stems from a traffic stop by Flippin Police and Marion County Deputies. During the course of the traffic stop officers located items of drug paraphernalia related to the sale of methamphetamine, officers also located an amount of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and a marijuana smoking device.

Pendergrass remains in the Marion County Jail with bond pending at the time of the press release.
