Two Yellville Residents arrested on unrelated Felony Drug Charges

      PRESS RELEASE

On 4-4-12 Michelle Pope, age 48 of Yellville was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance Hydrocodone (two counts), a Class C Felony. On 4-9-12 James Harrison, age 41, of Yellville was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance Hydrocodone, a Class C Felony and Distribution Near Certain Facilities.

The arrests stem from two separate  joint investigations by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Flippin Police Department. Over past months officers from each Department  conducted controlled buys from each of the suspects. Warrants for the suspects were issued earlier in the month and the suspects were both located and arrested without incident. The officers have no indication that the cases are related.

Bond for Pope was set at $5,000.00. Bond for Harrison was set at $3,000.00. Both have posted bond at the time of the press release and are awaiting an appearance in Marion County Circuit Court.
