Yellville resident arrested for Internet Stalking of a Child

PRESS RELEASE

On 10/22/12,  Ronnie Stockley, age 22, of Yellville was arrested and charged with Internet Stalking of a Child, a Class A Felony, Computer Child Pornography, a Class B Felony, and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device, a Class D Felony,

The arrest stems from an Online Cyber Crimes Investigation by Officers of the Flippin Police Department. During the course of the investigation Stockley engaged in sexually explicit chats with an undercover officer who was posing as a 14 year old female. Stockley made arrangements to meet with the female at a location in Flippin. When Stockley arrived he was arrested without incident by Flippin Police Department Officers and Officers from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

Bond for Stockley was set at $25,000.00. He remains in custody at the time of the press release pending a court date in Marion County Circuit Court.
