Yellville Resident arrested on Felony Drug Charges

On 9-6-14 Russell Moore, age 50, of Yellville was arrested and charged with Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, a Class Y Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Class D Felony, and Possession of Firearms by Certain Persons, a Class D Felony.

The arrest stems from a traffic stop by Flippin Police Officers. During the course of the traffic stop officers located an amount of methamphetamine, digital scales, a methamphetamine smoking device, and a pistol in the vehicle Moore was traveling in. Officers also located approximately $1000.00 in U.S. Currency which was seized.

Moore was arrested without incident and transported to the Marion County Jail. Bond for Moore was set at $25,000.00.
