PRESS RELEASE
On 2-4-12, Susan Mead, age 58, of Yellville was arrested and charged with Eight Counts of Obtaining a Prescription by Fraud, a Class D Felony.
The Flippin Police Department had an active investigation open regarding Mead obtaining controlled substances by Fraud. On 2-4-12 Officers from the Flippin Police Department learned that Mead would be at a business in Flippin attempting to pick up another fraudulent prescription. An officer made contact with Mead and arrested her without incident.
Bond for Mead was set at $5000.00 which she posted and is currently awaiting a court date.
